What is Estimate?

An estimate (also called a quote or bid) is a document provided to a prospective customer detailing the proposed scope of work and its projected cost. Estimates typically break down pricing by line item — labor, materials, and any additional fees — so the customer understands exactly what they are paying for. Converting estimates to jobs and invoices efficiently is critical to field service cash flow.
